Sunday. For on this day

Christ's faithful are bound
to come together into one place.
They should listen to the word of God
and take part in the Eucharist,

thus calling to mind the passion, resurrection, and glory of the Lord Jesus, and giving thanks to God who "has begotten them again, through the resurrection of Christ from the dead, unto a living hope" (1 Pet. 1:3).

The Lord's Day is the original feast day,
and it should be proposed to the faithful
and taught to them

so that it may become in fact a day of joy and of freedom from work. Other celebrations, unless they be truly of the greatest importance, shall not have precedence over Sunday,

which is the foundation and kernel
of the whole liturgical year. P

In these words Vatican Two reaffirms yet another Church teaching - refer THE CONSTITUTION ON THE SACRED LITURGY Sacrosanctum Concilium, 4 December, 1963.
The Holy Trinity
God can never, ever, be totally understood by the intellect of any created being, even in Heaven. We can only comprehend in accordance with the capacity given us, even when that capacity is as perfect as possible, such as it would be in Mary, The Woman of Scripture.
What can be understood, nevertheless, remains astonishing, filling the spirit of man with every delight.
Trinity in Creation
P 1 In the beginning God created heaven, and earth.
2  And the earth was void and empty, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God moved over the waters.
P
The Three Persons in the One Godhead tells us everything if we could only understand.
But what The Universal Church teaches gives us more then enough food for thought to last several lifetimes.
The Eternal-father for example, is Goodness Itself. He is the eternal- perfect-fullness-of-being, from Whom all creation issues (and therefore issues perfectly - that is to say, issues without blemish or sin).

And God saw that it was good

All that God created was done so, perfectly - God did not bring forth sin which is the corruption and mal-functioning found in creation.
But The Eternal-son, The Church teaches, issues from His Father, as The Word, as The Son, for He is Wisdom, Itself.
And The Eternal-spirit, issuing from Both Father and Son, is The Love between Them - the Energy between Them - The Harmony between Them
And The Three make up one Being, one Will.
This is just fabulous stuff.
If that is the case, then the basic fabric of the entire universe issues forth from The Father, but, because the universe reflects its creator, then all creation consists of

three basic fabrics -
creation reflecting The Three Persons of The Godhead.

Upon these basic fabrics making up every part of the universe, The Son applies divine Wisdom, providing design and purpose to these basic fabrics; so that three basic distinct fabrics result each having its own particular design and purpose.
Upon these three basic fabrics, each with its basic design and purpose, The Spirit lays His energy, so that each has a particular, individual energy.
So, there are three basic fabrics in all creation, three basic designs/purposes and three basic energies. These together make up every atom and every combination of atoms found everywhere.
Indeed, from the combination of these three basic fabrics comes forth the human body.
In this way, the extraordinary beauty found everywhere, reflects The Creator;  the incredible reaches of the universe reflects the eternity of Him; the basic simplicity of the universe which makes up an unending diversity in everything, reflects a divine Simplicity beyond our comprehension; everything can thus be traced back directly to Him - matter, design, energy.
P 24 And God said: Let the earth bring forth the living creature in its kind, cattle and creeping things, and beasts of the earth, according to their kinds. And it was so done.
25  And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds, and cattle, and every thing that creepeth on the earth after its kind. And God saw that it was good.
26 And he said:

Let us make man
to our image and likeness:

and let him have dominion over the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the air, and the beasts, and the whole earth, and every creeping creature that moveth upon the earth.

And God created man
to his own image:
to the image of God
he created him:
male and female he created them. P

The Spiritual Creation
But if this basic simple structure applies to the material universe, then it also applies to the spiritual creation, which means that there are basic spiritual fabrics of three types, each type with a specific design and purpose and each with a specific energy.
From the combination of these three spiritual fabrics there issues the Angels and  the souls of men.

46  And Mary said:
My soul doth magnify the Lord.
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced
