The rosary beads consist of a crucifix followed by three beads. There are 18 mysteries, each consisting of 3 small prayers with a prayer in between, as detailed below..

The prayer said on the crucifix:...........The Golgotha Prayer.
Prayer said on  first bead after the crucifix: ..Memorare.
Prayer said on second bead after the crucifix:.....Hail Holy Queen.
Prayer said on third bead after the crucifix:....Hail Mary.

In between each mystery pray:..................Your soul doth magnify the Lord; your spirit hath rejoiced in God, our Savour, for He hath regarded the humility of His handmaid; for behold, henceforth, all generations shall call you blessed; for He Who is mighty hath done great things to you, and holy is His name; and His mercy is from generation to generation, to them that fear Him.
