The Catechism is yet another nail in the coffin of modernism.
Once The Church is rid of these post-modernists,

these simulating Catholics,
whose danger is present almost
in the very veins and heart of the Church,

whose injury is the more certain from the very fact that their knowledge of her is more intimate, The Church will be incredibly invigorated and then the new evangelisation prayed for by John Paul the Great, will sweep around the planet.
No longer will modernism diffuse poison through the whole tree, so that there is no part of Catholic truth which they leave untouched, none that they do not strive to corrupt.
No longer will post-modernism act with audacity as their chief characteristic where

there is no conclusion
of any kind
from which they shrink

or which they do not thrust forward with pertinacity and assurance.
Although astute and skilful, no longer will they play the double part of rationalist and Catholic, employing a thousand noxious devices and this so craftily that they easily lead the unwary into error
No longer will they disdain all authority and brook no restraint -  and relying upon a false conscience, attempt to ascribe to a love of truth that which is, in reality the result of pride and obstinacy.  (PASCENDI DOMINICI GREGIS - ON THE DOCTRINE OF THE MODERNISTS, POPE PIUS X, SEPTEMBER 8, 1907 - paragraph 3. )
It is not hard at all, to view The Church, finally cleansed of this hundred-year-old internal
poison, this crass disobedience, as powerfully revitalized and reinvigorated.
And that day of cleansing must be close at hand.
That day when obedience once more becomes the norm -

when obedience is once again regarded
as the great virtue it is

- where obedience creates that beautiful unity within The Church - overflowing throughout the entire world.
What a day that will be.
Love Mary too much?
Recently a good Priest said to me that a person can love Mary too much.
I promptly disagreed. Indeed, I disagree absolutely.
In fact, it is a nonsense to think that anyone can love Mary too much.
This point of view is so very easily proven by the one fact:-

God is Love.

Every Christian, Catholic or non-Catholic, agrees that:-

God is Love.

If that is true, and it is, then how is it possible for us to share, with Mary, the Love of God, too much?
The Love of God is The Holy Spirit.
We do not love God.  No, we share The Love of God.
We immerse ourselves in this Love of God and
we share this Love with our neighbours.

Bearing in  mind that Love
is The very Spirit of God,
it is an impossibility to say
that we love anybody too much.

How can anyone share The Love of God with anyone too much?
Are they saying that The Love of God is finite?
Of course not! It is merely a matter of observing that we are speaking about Love that is Infinite.
Once we clearly make the distinction that Love is God, then we can easily observe that it is quite impossible 'to love Mary too much'. If we look at this wonderful Gift from God - loving Mary - and state it in the precise terms of Truth, then we will declare our devotion for Mary thus:-

Jesus gave you to us from The Cross, blessed Mother,
to be our Mother and supporter.
He gave you to us for He knew
you would prepare us like a true mother
so that we would be perfectly presentable
when you, yourself, accompany us
as we come before Jesus
when out time has come.
Jesus loved you with the very Love of God
and He would have us love you as He did.
He Himself told us
that your love for one another
is to be like the love I have for you. (John 13:35)
We can never cherish you as did your adored Son,
but we are able recognise, acknowledge and appreciate you
as Woman of Scripture; as Mother of The Christ,
as our Mother,
to the absolute best of our ability,
for if we did not we would fail in obedience to God
Who used your own words to instruct us
to treat you as blessed for all generations.
And this we do by the very Grace of God.

If there are people who place Mary above Jesus Christ or above God - and I can not imagine that this is at all possible - then that is not a true Love for Mary at all.
In fact that is not Love at all - perhaps a form of insanity. Nor is it human love or devotion. The fact is I do not know what it might be called as I do not think it possible for any sane person to place Mary above God or Christ.
There is no reason for it. It is incomprehensible. One would have to wonder about someone who places a creature above The Creator. I've never observed anyone in that situation and I've never heard of anyone in that situation!
