He takes along the people who will proclaim his virtues.
He takes along his supporters.
To go to court, facing a judge, alone and unsupported, with experienced solicitors against you with intentions to send you to prison, or worse, with their witnesses and supporters, is suicidal.
To go before the Eternal-judge
alone and unsupported
is worse then suicidal
for we speak here, not about death of the body, but about eternal-death.
What a comfort then do we have in realising that when The Lord asks us for our resume we have great contacts.
P 20 And he that had received the five talents coming, brought other five talents, saying:
Lord, thou didst deliver to me five talents.
Behold I have gained other five over and above.
21. His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant, because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things. Enter thou into the joy of thy lord. P
So, was The Lord actually talking about money here?
I can say definitely not.
What then was He talking about?
P 34 Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
For I was hungry,
and you gave me to eat:
I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink:
I was a stranger,
and you took me in. P
Here we observe that Salvation is not about money at all. It is about Love of neighbour and about the Truth that we are to love God and neighbour and about Goodness in that we have the will to fulfil The Commandments.
In short it is about saving our soul and about helping to save the souls of others.
Does this not mean that when we face The Eternal-judge that we will have witnesses to vouch for us and that these witnesses are the souls we helped to save?
In fact, it seems to me, that if one soul goes to Heaven because of another person's help, that must ensure that the latter also goes to Heaven.
But there are other witness too, witnesses whom we have called upon to help us - witnesses who have responded to our plea and sought to help us reach Heaven, that is to say, Mary, Joseph, The Archangel and all the Saints, Angels and Holy Souls.
They can not - they do not want to - deny helping us and so,
having made the request
we know that they will help.
And in agreeing to help us,
they to some extent,
take on responsibility for our souls.
And so become witnesses for us.
Truth is Central
There is Love - There is Goodness - There is Truth - but it is
the need to seek
the Truth
that can not be denied
by ANYONE.
Except the devil!
Even the modernists will agree that we should seek love but their definition of 'love' is absolutely deceptive ( i.e. an untruth).
They will also agree that we all should be good people, but their description of 'goodness' is absolutely deceptive (i.e. an untruth).
However, do they agree that we should seek Truth? What do the modernists say about Truth?
They ask What is Truth? There is no such thing, they answer, as truth - everything changes. What is truth to one person is not the truth to another.
They say There is no such thing as unchanging truth! What we believe as truth today is not the same truth we will believe tomorrow!
We observe here that while the anti-Catholic infiltrators will agree that we need love and we need to be good, they attribute false meanings to love and goodness.
But when it comes to Truth,
they do not pretend
that truth has any worth at all,
because they contend that there is no such thing as truth!
In all three
of the supreme virtues,
love, goodness and truth,
the modernists propagate lying proposals
for the unwary. In all three cases the modernists propagate untruth.
It is very clear then, that
Truth is so important,
so supremely important,
indeed the most important
