the lion of the tribe of Juda,
the root of David,
hath prevailed

to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
73 5 6 And I saw: and behold in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the ancients,

a Lamb standing
as it were slain,

having seven horns and seven eyes: which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.
73 5 7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne.
73 5 8 And when he had opened the book,

the four living creatures,
and the four and twenty ancients
fell down before the Lamb,

having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints:
73 5 9 And they sung a new canticle, saying:

Thou art worthy, O Lord,
to take the book,
and to open the seals thereof;
because thou wast slain,
and hast redeemed us to God,
in thy blood,
out of every tribe,
and tongue, and people, and nation.

73 5 10 And hast made us to our God a kingdom and priests, and

we shall reign on the earth.

73 5 11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne, and the living creatures, and the ancients; and the number of them was thousands of thousands,
73 5 12 Saying with a loud voice:

The Lamb that was slain
is worthy to receive power, and divinity,
and wisdom, and strength, and honour,

and glory, and benediction. P (Apocalypse)
Notice how the
four and twenty ancients fell down before the Lamb, obviously in adoration. The four and twenty ancients

were not indisposed
to adoring the sacred Body
of Jesus Christ.

And nor is The Universal Church which is in fact, the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ.
The Lamb that was slain is the New-Adam, as He was and is, then He MUST take the form and capacity of the New-Adam - that is to say,

of mankind saved
into glory and immortality.

All this - and much, much more - was achieved through the human Body and Soul of Jesus Christ. That is to say,

The Son of God
could not have brought us Salvation
had He not assumed
a human body and soul to Himself.

In all this, we glimpse the perfect reasoning behind the Catholic practise of adoring The Body of Jesus Christ and every facet thereof.
Catholics do not adore The Son of God and reject His human Body and Soul through which He achieved Salvation - as some would have us do.
No, Catholics realise that

The Son of God
and The Son of Man
have become One
and will always
be One.

This is so wonderful and so exquisite and so essential to the realisation that we, in our bodies and souls, may become One in The Mystical Body of Jesus Christ, and so share His very Divinity.

Is this Mystical Body
of Jesus Christ
possible without
the physical Body and Soul
of Jesus Christ?

I think not.
At the Last Supper Jesus said This is my Body and This is my Blood.
In adding
Do this in commemoration of Me, Jesus clearly commanded that all generations, at the very least, should remember with love His Body and Blood through which Redemption was accomplished.
It was the outpouring of Christ's Blood that consummated the appeasing Sacrifice of Golgotha and this, in fulfilment of the ancient sacrifices of spotless lambs which were prophetic types.
The piercing of Christ's side and therefore His Heart, brought forth
blood and water. In this action we can perceive a proof of the totality of Christ's Sacrifice where the very last drops of Blood were shed.

In this, it was His pierced Heart
