How can the Catholic consecration fulfil this definite requirement?
The consecration, made regularly, even daily, places the person into the convoy of the consecrated, joining himself to the myriads of others who do likewise.
Consecrating himself to Jesus' Sacred Heart means placing himself to a complete alliance with and reliance on Jesus, from one moment to the next.
By a sincere consecration he draws upon himself a personal contract between himself and his Lord wherebye he becomes One in Christ during each hour, each day, whether he is consciously praying or not.
That is to say, he is in continuous harmony with Jesus Christ, and so he in prayer
without ceasing.
Where consecration of oneself is made to The Mother, St. Joseph, The Archangel or a particular Saint or Angel, this powerful action joins him with that particular favourite of God and he is joined thereby with the heavenly Host.
Joined thus with the heavenly Host, a person is given incomparable advantage when he looks to The Eternal-father Who views him in such august Company.
Hence, he prays without ceasing, for the consecration is continuous and his every action and thought becomes a prayer.
Humility, Simplicity, Fear of The Lord, Obedience
Cultivating these marvellous virtues - and others - also constitute a continuous prayer.
The mere fact that one acts in humility, in obedience, etc., whether praying or otherwise - perhaps working, perhaps playing -  must rise up to God as prayer, whether intended or not by the individual.
Sorrow for Sin
Another supernatural, genuine communication with The Almighty - sorrow for sin - so natural a prayer that is like incense rising to the very Throne of God.
Unintentional Prayer
These prayers are very often unintentional - probably more often then not. But they are still prayers.
Unfortunately, as I have suggested, some particular prayers are forfeited by the individual and the Grace that he might have had, have been lost - to him.
But they are not lost altogether - the prayer, the Grace from the prayer, remains - perhaps unclaimed.
Under these circumstances, I feel most attracted to the following prayer:-

PON THE PRAYERS OF THE WHOLE OF HUMANITY, WHOSE PRAYERS
WE LONG FOR,
FOR THE LOVE AND THE GRATITUDE
AND THE GLORY OF GOD:
WHOSE PRAYERS THE WHOLE OF THE LIVING CREATION LONGS FOR,
FOR THE LOVE AND THE GRATITUDE
AND THE GLORY OF GOD:
PRAYERS OF OUR SUFFERINGS
OF MIND AND BODY AND SPIRIT:
OF THE INJUSTICES HEAPED UPON US
BY OURSELVES
AND BY THE TRAITORS:
OF OUR HUMAN FRAILTIES, FAULTS AND FAILINGS:
OF OUR IGNORANCES
- DEAFNESS, DUMBNESS AND BLINDNESS:
OF OUR HOPES AND DESIRES FOR PEACE AND TRUTH:
FOR JUSTICE, MERCY AND LOVE:
OF THE DESERT AND THE DARKNESS
OVER AND THROUGH WHICH
WE STRUGGLE, FROM DAY TO DAY:
OF THE PURITY, TRUTH AND LOVE
THAT WE DO HAVE:
OF THE SUBMISSIVENESS, DOCILITY, SIMPLICITY, HUMILITY, PATIENCE PERSEVERANCE
AND PEACE
THAT WE DO HAVE:
OF THE CONSECRATIONS THAT WE DO MAKE,
AND NOW RENEW,
TO THE SACRED HEART AND
TO THE DIVINE HEAD,
AND TO THE PRECIOUS BLOOD
OF JESUS CHRIST.
JESUS. JESUS CHRIST:
TO THE SORROWFUL AND IMMACULATE HEART OF HIS EXQUISITE MOTHER, MARY:
