It is an astonishing thing, but not astonishing at all when one recalls that Catholicism is the Treasury of Truth, that venerating Mary (that is to say, appreciating her as God would have her appreciated) leads to great possession of Truth.
It is also astonishing, in like manner, that obedience to The Pope, to The Church, brings the humble son and daughter to a greater possession of Truth.
Further astonishment is evident when the child of God partakes of the Catholic Eucharist, Christ Himself, for he thereby shares Truth Personified.
How exquisite is Truth.
But not only Truth of Creator but also truth of creation!

The truth of creation
can not but point to
The Truth of The Creator.

Any scientific theory, therefore, that does not point to The Truth of God, is automatically invalidated.
When scientific theory suggests that Scripture or Church Dogma is in error, that theory is can immediately be stamped:-
The Church does not permit divorce.
Beginning and end of story, really.
P 48 10 6  But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.
48 10 7  For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother; and shall cleave to his wife.
48 10 8  And they two shall be in one flesh. Therefore now they are not two, but one flesh.
48 10 9  What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
48 10 10  And in the house again his disciples asked him concerning the same thing.
48 10 11  And he saith to them: Whosoever shall put away his wife and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
48 10 12  And if the wife shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
Yet, in these days of post-modernist deception, many men and women find themselves in tragic situations resulting from divorce.
Church teaching, having been kept from the Faithful for generations, has been bypassed and Her children have followed an erroneously developed conscience!!
They, on the other hand, are unable to ignore the Ten Commandments written in their heart from conception, and are torn apart. They have children through a second
husband/wife perhaps; they feel a love for the second husband/wife; there seems no escape, and they feel that the most Sacred Sacraments of The Church are beyond their grasp.
The simple but agonising solution is to follow Church instruction at the basic level - break away from the adulterous marriage and return to the sacramental marriage.
This, in most cases, is probably nearly impossible for various reasons and, on top of that, would also create many more problems sadly involving children, in-laws, finance, health, spiritual welfare, legislation and even, threats of violence.
The devil, through the greatest apostasy/heresy of all times - modernism - must welcome the apparent disintegration of the family unit, especially the Catholic family.
But The Universal Church, as our Mother, is most concerned about this violent attack upon marriage and family.

As the sacramental marriage and family
guarantees the continued existence of The Church,
She places the greatest concern
on ensuring permanency of the Christian family.

She does not discard Her children who find themselves in the awful position of unlawful remarriage. Indeed, She reaches out for them with the most tender compassion that can only come from the realisation of Truth from which issues Love; which can only come from the hope that Her children will reach Eternal-life and escape the dread that some of Her children may end in eternal-death.
P  Jesus appeals to "the beginning", seeing at the very origins of creation God's plan, on which the family is based, and, through the family, the entire history of humanity.

What marriage is in nature becomes,
by the will of Christ,
a true sacrament of the New Covenant,
sealed by the blood of Christ the Redeemer.

<Spouses and families, remember at what price you have been "bought"!> (cf. 1 Cor 6:20).
But it is <humanly difficult> to accept and to live
this marvellous truth.
Should we be surprised that Moses relented before the insistent demands of his fellow Israelites, if the Apostles themselves, upon hearing the words of the Master, reply by saying: "If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry" (Mt 19:10)!
The Apostles, overcoming their initial fears even about marriage and the family, grew in courage. They came to understand that marriage and family are a true vocation which comes from God himself and is an apostolate: the apostolate of the laity.

Families are meant to contribute
to the transformation of the earth
and the renewal of the world,
of creation and of all humanity.

<Do not be afraid> of the risks! God's strength is always far more powerful than your difficulties! Immeasurably greater than the evil at work in the world is the power of the <Sacrament of Reconciliation,> which the Fathers of the Church rightly called a "second Baptism".  P LETTER TO FAMILIES from Pope John Paul II
Solid marriage is so sacred and so necessary to The Church, to the world and to creation - as witnessed by the family break-up and the massive disasters that have resulted in the past century - that The Church continues Her demand for permanency and fruitfulness and sanctity in this marvellous institution of holiness.
P  48. The intimate partnership of married life and love has been established by the Creator and qualified by His laws, and is rooted in the conjugal covenant of irrevocable personal consent.
