for all Catholics.

This the post-modernists do not want, because on a full debate where the whole sad story of the pros and cons of modernism verses The Church, the referee - long before the last round - would stand over the post-modernist and his count would be 10 - and still going.
Benedict XVI
If a mere member of the faithful like myself, can observe these probabilities, then we can be sure that the Pope is perfectly aware of the ignition he has lit.
We can also be absolutely sure that he has prepared for any and every reaction and that he knows his enemies much better then I do. Relying on The Spirit of God, the Pope knows what he has done and I believe, knows the fullness of the successful outcome.
His opponents, on the other hand, are also aware of the massive potential of
Summorum Pontificum but they also must realise that the history of modernism and their incredible attempts to destroy The Universal Church, are becoming known far and wide. Pope John Paul the Great has all but defeated them, in any case, for their time has come and gone.
Modernism is no longer formidable and seemingly invincible. They may still control some bishoprics as far as education is concerned as well as other aspects e.g. liturgical and diocesan planning, but this has become a temporary power as The real-Church reclaims Her assets and responsibilities. Newly appointed Bishops are proper Apostles and their allegiance is to
Peter and to Truth; so that Bishops of doubtful loyalty are becoming quite scarce.
Post-modernism then, aware of its frailty, has only four alternatives:

  1. abandon the apostate ship and reclaim reality;
  2. go the whole hog and try for schism;
  3. re-try an old deception and take on the aura of real-Catholicism, pretending to accept unity, abiding its time for a future attack - awaiting their leader, the anti-christ; or
  4. all of the above.
I think number 4. will be their choice but all will fail except for alternative 3. where some will succeed and venture under-cover into the new Era of Peace.
Success of Summorum Pontificum
A massive number of Catholics (in the successful reunion of Catholicism, the term real-Catholics will not be needed) who have many wounds because of modernism, will find immediate cure in the Tridentine Mass. They will gain new strength and hope, and feel cleansed.
They will know that the victory has been declared.
Yet, at the same time, having renewed their love for the Ancient Rite, they will better perceive the brilliance of the new rite of the Novus Ordo.
The youth will perceive Tradition in a new and brilliant light as they gain devotion for the Mass of our fathers. They will depth the Mystery of The Cross and will view the Novus Ordo in a new and wonderful light -

it being the one and the same Mass.

The Tridentine Mass will become the international Mass and tourists will seek this exquisite Rite around the world, particularly in nations where the language is beyond their capacity.
A new universal unity will flourish and nations will be drawn together.
The Tridentine Mass will become the norm for great festivals where people of many tongues will gather and they will remember the words of Scripture:-
P 51 2 6  And when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded in mind, because that every man heard them speak in his own tongue.
51 2 7  And they were all amazed, and wondered, saying: Behold, are not all these, that speak, Galileans?
51 2 8  And how have we heard, every man our own tongue wherein we were born?
51 2 9  Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea, and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
51 2 10  Phrygia, and Pamphylia, Egypt, and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome,
51 2 11  Jews also, and proselytes, Cretes, and Arabians: we have heard them speak in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.
P Acts of The Apostles
And Australians, Americans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, ..
Summorum Pontificum spells the end of the schism of Archbishop Lefebvre, for even though his followers have moved themselves further and further away from The Church declaring Her Popes of recent times to be illegitimate, they will no longer be able to appeal to their use of the Tridentine Mass, which will soon be available to every Catholic, everywhere.
The leaders of this schism will realise that they must reconcile with The Church where they will be lovingly embraced by the Pontiff or, on the contrary, remain intransient in which case they will quickly become obsolete.
The return of the real-Catholics from this schism (and one must recall that The Church therein lost the cream of Her faithful who simply could not stomach the modernist deceptions and degradations) into the Bosom of The Universal Church will be a blessing of the highest magnitude.
I know that I personally with many others, will welcome these beautiful people back into the intimate Faith of Catholicism.
They will be like a blood transfusion into the Mystical Body
The modernist cancer will be terminated.
The Problems
One particular problem resulting in the purification of The Church will be the confusion in those Catholics who were led astray and honestly believed they were doing the good thing in going along with the modernist deceptions.
But, having accepted the Reality of The Church as She has always been - that will be the difficulty - they will feel a joy, a delight, a freedom, a newness and a home-coming that will truly astonish them. Then they will become aware that, all along, they have felt a little interior doubt about some of the things the modernists had got up to, the awkward things they proposed and the surprising doctrines they professed.
Their relief will be marvellous for them and for The Church.
