So the question What day? probably means how is it possible to defeat evil?which can only occur
There is only one answer - remove evil; remove the evil one and his evil horde.
Deliver us from evil.
And so, leaving only Truth, as already mentioned.
This has to be the answer and so the trick is how to remove evil?
How to remove the evil that has become a permanent feature of the human landscape like disease in the body?
I say Truth, because there are three facets to the Godhead which has been reflected in creation but which the devil has transfigured into disfigurement, that is to say:
where was Goodness, the disfigurement was evil;
where there was Truth, the disfigurement was deception;
where there was Love, the disfigurement was hatred.
The Eternal-father, in His Era, defeated the disfigurement of Goodness by bringing into the world the creature of purity, reflecting His Own Eternal-purity, known as The Immaculate Conception, Mary, Mother of Jesus.
Then came the Era of Christ, The Son of God, which Era brought the Truth found in Christ and His Church. This is the Era we have lived in and so the triumph of Christ's Era will be the defeat of deception and so The Triumph of Truth.
Which leaves the Third Era - The Era of The Spirit, the Era of Love into which we must surely be now entering.
Thus deliver us from evil, meant in ancient times the Triumph of Goodness, as personified by The Immaculate Conception out of Which and out of whom, came The Christ.
In these times deliver us from evil, means the Triumph of Truth, as personified by Christ and His Universal Church.
Yet The Immaculate Conception has not been recognised by the world! Goodness has triumphed yet evil continues!?
So also has Truth conquered in The Passion and Cross, yet deception still holds the world spellbound!
Is it then that Truth has conquered but that, like The Immaculate Conception, the victory will not be recognised and the world carries on as before?
So that the third warfare between Love and hatred proceeds in similar fashion to the previous warfares, where the divine Victories are not proclaimed universally?
While it might be understood that the first victory may be unproclaimed universally, the second Victory of Truth over deception, is another matter.
That is, while Goodness triumphs, it remains possible that the master of deception can camouflage his utter defeat and proceed onto the second phase of his infernal rebellion.
But the same does not hold true if Truth is victorious, for then deception must be exposed!?
If deception is exposed, then The Immaculate Conception must be acclaimed throughout the world, pointing to Christ and His Church, and so Scripture will find its purpose in that:-
47 5 14 You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid. (Matthew)
The Church will become the light of the world, because Truth will triumph.
The Church, which is The Mystical Body of Christ, is this light, because Jesus states that He Himself, is the light of the world (as well as His followers).
50 8 12 Again therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying: I am the light of the world: he that followeth me, walketh not in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John)
50 9 4 I must work the works of him that sent me, whilst it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
50 9 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. (John)
It seems to me then, that the whole planet will have an era of Peace when this light is recognised
when deception is removed everywhere.
Then comes the final warfare between Love and hatred when this third and final evil will be destroyed by the long-awaited Second Coming of Christ.
But how this evil of deception is removed is baffling and I have to think that the belief of many that this will occur through three days of darkness throughout the world when catastrophes will decimate most of the world's population, is plausible - as in the days of Noah.
Or in the days of Moses: P2 10 22 And Moses stretch forth his hand towards heaven: and there came horrible darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days.
2 10 23 No man saw his brother, nor moved himself out of the place where he was: but wheresoever the children of Israel dwelt there was light. P (Exodus)
Following this, the Israelites were cautioned to prepare themselves for a final disaster in Egypt - to exclude those Israelites who had the blood of the sacrificed lamb on their door portals.
P 2 11 4 And he said: Thus said the Lord: At midnight I will enter into Egypt.
2 11 5 And every firstborn in the land of the Egyptians shall die, from the firstborn of Pharao who sitteth on his throne, even to the first born of the handmaid that is at the mill, and all the firstborn of beasts.
2 11 6 And there shall be a great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as neither hath been before, nor shall be hereafter. P
Upon this final disaster for Egypt the Israelites were allowed to depart but yet again the Pharao became hardened of heart and sent his army after them. This army too was destined for disaster:-
P 2 14 27 And when Moses had stretched forth his hand towards the sea, it returned at the first break of day to the former place: and as the Egyptians were fleeing away, the waters came upon them, and the Lord shut them up in the middle of the waves.
2 14 28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots and the horsemen of all the army of Pharao, who had come into the sea after them, neither did there so much as one of them remain. P
The Old Testament has God working such wonders upon the earth in favour of His Own People, opposing the persons of evil.
It seems to me that God has absolutely required that man has freewill and this freewill brings about Heaven or it brings about hell - even upon the earth.
So that the great world devastations result from evil, which in turn bring forth God's Bounty. W
