And in defining Love, we must then look at these Gifts The Almighty has given us! BUT ALSO, that the tree is God-bathed.
In particular, we look at the senational Gift of being able to recognize what we perceive with our senses but also with the natural law written in our hearts, the latter directing us unto pure faith.
It is in this recognition that we are capable of--as the great theologian Frank Sheed informs us--recognizing the tree in its fullness:- its colour, its branch and root system, its use of sunlight through the leaves, etc.,
That is, in being able to recognise the tree to its fullness we must recognise that it is a creation of God!the ability to perceive that which exists--
The capability to recognise, is
and The Father is Eternal-existence.
But once we recognise the tree and all its facets, it is another thing to acknowledge the truth of these facets.the ability to perceive the truth of things--
And in this we find a further remarkable Gift from The Almighty--the ability to acknowledge a truth.
So, while it is clear that the tree in its fullness, includes a great variety of components, it is another thing to acknowledge them.
As Sheed states, in the failure to acknowledge the fullness of the tree, including its God-bathedness, then, to that extent, we are not living in the real world--to that extent we are living in an unreal world!
To that extent, we intentionally fail to comprehend the full truth about the tree.
Thus, the capability to acknowledge that which exists, is
and The Son is Eternal-truth.
And, in recognising the fullness of the tree and then, in acknowledging this fullness, it is yet another matter to appreciate the tree.the ability to reflect The Eternal-spirit.
Herein, we have another momentous Gift from The Almighty--the capability to appreciate what we recognise and acknowledge.
It is quite possible to recognise the fullness of the tree and to acknowledge this, but it is another thing to appreciate it!!
Our capability of appreciating the tree and so, of having an attraction for the tree as God-bathed, is
It seems to me then, that the Love that our Saviour spoke of, are those capabilities in us whereby we are enabled torecognise, acknowledge and appreciate
and His creation.
In that order.is the reason man has become
Love of creation
To use the Gifts that recognise, acknowledge and appreciate His creation, but not The Creator,
a malfunctioning creature.
He loves power and glory and himself, but does not see them as 'God-bathed'!
And so he does not love The Creator.
Living in this unreal world, man develops all sorts on insanities and covers himself with every deception possible.
The last century, the century given over to the devil, witnessed incredible achievements in every human sphere, but the greatest phenomena of all was the astonishing plethora of deception.
Everywhere. In everything.
P 40 1 2 How long, O Lord, shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear? shall I cry out to thee suffering violence, and thou wilt not save?
40 1 3 Why hast thou shewn me iniquity and grievance, to see rapine and injustice before me? and there is a judgment, but opposition is more powerful. 40 1 4 Therefore the law is torn in pieces, and judgment cometh not to the end: because the wicked prevaileth against the just, therefore wrong judgment goeth forth. P 73 12 15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth after the woman, water as it were a river; that he might cause her to be carried away by the river. P Apocalypse
This river of Apocalypse 12, it seems to me, is the blatant deceptions of the devil [and mind you, the river was specifically aimed at The Woman!]
We, of The Catholic Faith, are not surprised then, that the superabundance of every form of deception, of the twentieth century, had the prime purpose of destroying The Woman.
Especially when we witness how The Woman was attacked so viciously even within The Universal Church and from without, as well.
We also note that, in attacking The Woman, the river of satanic deceptions also attacked womanhood and most especially motherhood!
Nothing is sacred
When we observe, in the world, that the moral fibre, left over from the twentieth century, is thin and weak, in government, in industry, in society--even in the family (what's left of it!), we can hardly be surprised, having passed through the worst satanic attack upon The Church and upon the whole world, ever experienced in the history of man!
