Old Sage, let me read you a little from that book 'The Imitation of Christ'.
Vanity of vanities and all is vanity, except to love God and serve Him alone.
This is the greatest wisdom -- to seek the kingdom of heaven through contempt of the world.
Indeed. I have read that wonderful book and I recall that part.
That is a heavy statement to make, don't you think - all is vanity?
It took me a long time to come to this conclusion but in my old age, I see more and more clearly that it is true - 'all in vanity'!
