Old Sage, I have to hand a religious journal Angelus, printed by the Pius X Society which reminds me a bit of the Orthodox. They do not condemn the Pope. They even appear to honour the Pope; but they condemn the actions of The Church!!
Yes. They, like the Orthodox, are in great difficulty. While The Church is internally attacked by the greatest threat in Her 2,000 year history, the Orthodox and the Pius Tenth Society stand aside and ridicule Her!
So true. They point out The Church's awful wounds that are all but fatal, in all parts of Her Body, and judge The Church by the ugliness of these wounds.
That's a good way of putting it. But the Pope is 'Peter' and he must be supported and obeyed. The problem for them is that they know the Pope is 'Peter' but they have withdrawn themselves from supporting him!!!
I can point out innumerable difficulties within The Church but that is all the more reason to stay with Her and help Her.
